Two starting time of the marathon (42.2 K)

First start: 7:30 am

Participants taking between 6 and 7 hours to run or walk the 42.2 K course, have to take
the 7:30 am start.

NOTE : Those taking this 7:30 am start, who will run or walk the course under 5:30, will have a minimum time of 5:30 at the official ranking. This is to avoid that participants who make less than 6 hours, take this departure. Given that streets close in a progressive way, it is necessary to avoid that participants arrive too early at an intersection which would not be secured.

Second start: 8:30 am

Participant taking less than 6 hours to run or walk the 42.2K, should take the 8:30 am start.

Time Limit

Time limit is as follow :

  • 7 h for those taking the FIRST start at 7:30 am
  • 6 h for those taking the SECOND start at 8:30 am
  • The time limit to cross the finish line is 2:30 pm. After this time, services on the course are not guaranteed.

    T-Shirts and Medals

    Timing

The MyLap system from ChampionChip will be used for the Descente Royale. With this system, there is no need to attach the timing device to a shoe. The timing tag is in the back of the bib.

The bib does not need to be returned after the race.

    Pace Bunnies

There will be pace bunnies at the Marathon and at the Half-Marathon.
